For older or more complex properties a full Building Survey may be more appropriate. This is a detailed inspection and report, formerly known as a structural survey. A valuation is also included. As a guide to fees, an RICS HomeBuyer Report on a property at £150,000 purchase price will cost £350.00. A Building Survey (at the same purchase price) will cost £550.00. Charges quoted are not subject to VAT. Payment is due on completion of the work or at stages as agreed. No payments are taken in advance or on account.
